Author, satirist and intellectual Kurt Vonnegut wrote: "A sane person to an insane society must appear insane". Take for example climate change. If human industrial activity is leading to a potential ecological catastrophe, to omnicide, one would think the sane thing to do is to stop or regulate industrial activity. Try talking about that to anybody, and you are immediately labeled insane. As if, they are the connected ones, and you are disconnected from reality.
