Isn't he limiting his customer base? Reliable data is hard to come by, but based on the 2013 NHIS data, 96.6% of U.S. adults identified themselves as straight 1.6% as gay or lesbian, 0.7% as bisexual and 1.1% as "something else". Although those numbers are low, on the average, U.S. adults estimate that 25% of Americans are gay or lesbian. In most countries, only about 1% of the population identify as lesbian. Needless to say, LGBT populations are most likely higher due to varying degrees of LGBT discrimination which exists throughout the world.

While we are on the topic of sexuality, asexuality is becoming an epidemic in Japan. Japanese media call it the "celibacy syndrome". Scientists are still debating how much of sexuality is based on nature and how much on nurture. Most seem to think, it's a bit of both.

Years ago, when I was a kid, I watched a TV program where they were questioning people on the street about what they thought about gay relationships [back then "LGBT" was not used]. One answer stuck with me to this day: "Keep the government out of the bedroom". The only thing I can add to that is, if you do let the government into the bedroom, it's really hard to get them back out. Your sexuality is no one else's business, and no person should be discriminated against, period!
