Just yesterday, I was ranting about the meaninglessness of gadgets. This is beautiful.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Evolutionarily speaking, until recently, the human species seems to have associated beauty with balance and harmony, especially in nature. Now we mainly reflect on own creations - buildings, art, cars and gadgets - and judge their beauty.

A few years ago, I was driving West into a most beautiful sunset, looking for a good spot to stop and savor it. I was interrupted by a friend who was in the car with me. He was only interested in the sports car in front of us.
